Meridian Crossfit was born in January of 2022. Eleven members of a previous Crossfit gym decided to purchase it from the original sole proprietor that was moving on to a new stage in his life. The eleven members did not want to see their gym or their gym family close up. They developed a plan, and Meridian Crossfit is the result. We, and our ancestor, pride ourselves on small class sizes and supporting each and every member as a part of our Crossfit family. The eleven members are recognized in the company logo – 11 grains of wheat on the wheat stalk, and two #1s replacing I’s in the word Mer1d1an!

How to Get Started.
Meridian Crossfit welcomes new members or guests with open arms. There are a couple of ways to become a part of our family
New to working out – we will start you in one of our on boarding programs. The on boarding program runs over the course of 6-8 classes, and is designed to educate and encourage new members with little to no experience in the gym. Our coaches will assist you in learning how our programming works (warm up, workout of the day (WOD), and cool down). They will also show you the basic body weight and barbell movements that our WODs are built around. Upon completion of the onboarding program, you will have the knowledge and confidence to enter into the regular programming and participate in WODs. Please remember that the regular WODs can be scaled to match any fitness level! Please reach out to us to find out when the next on boarding session will be starting.
New to Meridian Crossfit, but have gym experience and knowledge – Contact us for membership info, and we will get you set up on the ZenPlanner App so you can join our next class! The coaches, owners and/or other members will be happy to show you around the gym before your first visit so you know where everything is!
An experienced Crossfitter just visiting for a day or so – Please contact us for drop in information. We would be glad to have you join us for a day or two or ten! As Crossfit is a community based experience, many of our members will try to attend a WOD in different cities while travelling – it makes for a unique experience for all!
Discounts for members of Military, Firefighters, EMS, or police.

What does Crossfit offer that other exercise programs or gyms do not Crossfit gives a great variety/combo of strength and cardiovascular workouts. All the workouts are coached which helps members stay safe yet aim for their own maximal output for each workout to improve overall strength, metabolic conditioning, and mobility. Crossfit is a community. A community where members can be themselves and be supported by other members and coaches. Crossfit provides the optimal health environment that may only be available to the members for the time they spend at the gym (not many people are surrounded by positive and healthy people outside of gym time). A Crossfit class goal is to ensure that it will be the BEST hour of a member’s day!
What is your favourite aspect of Crossfit I love being able to workout with others doing the “same” workout that I am doing. It helps me push my limits, yet with proper coaching keeps me safe in each class. There is always focus, determination and joy in each class. Every class is structured with a proper warm up, demonstration, workout and cool down/mobility. Every class can be scaled so that each member is challenged in the workout yet provide proper safety.
What would your advice be to a potential new member to help get them started in Crossfit Crossfit is a journey. You may see larger gains at the start and then have to work at different movements specifically to become better. Consistency is key. No workout is the same, it is constantly varied which keeps it exciting and always challenging the body. Enjoy the process. Some days you may leave feeling like you totally Rocked it, then other days NOT. Everyone has their different strengths and weaknesses and part of the journey is using a positive mindset to focus on working on your weaknesses as well as take pride in your strengths.

Each workout is varied, forcing one to adapt to constant change, while maintaining functional movement for everyday life.
What is your favorite aspect of CrossFit My favorite aspect of CrossFit is the constant challenge from different workouts, and seeing everyone at different ages and fitness levels being able to push themselves to reach their full potential. This is made possible through the camaraderie and support between everyone in a class, pushing one another to keep grinding and getting through a workout.
What would your advice be to a potential new member to help get them started in CrossFit Simply show up, let the coach be your guide, challenge yourself to learn new skills and have fun with everything you are doing!! CrossFit will challenge you to get comfortable being outside your comfort zone, but the pride in achieving new skills and goals is reward in itself.

What is your favorite hobby/pastime away from the gym Away from the gym, I enjoy spending time with my family…..my husband, our two boys and fur baby. There is never enough time to spend out in nature, exploring new trails, creating adventures together. I also enjoy helping and watching our boys learn and develop new skills through their various sports/activities…..and as much as we like to complain about chauffeuring them to their activities, we wouldn’t change a thing.
